An adverb is a word/combination of words that changes a verb, adjective, and another verb. It describes when, where, and how the process is carried out or indicates the quality or degree of the process.
Example:
Robin is always hungry for success.
I love it immensely.
He is running fast.
Adverb clauses and adverb sentences are clauses and sentences that modify the verb, adjective, or other adverbs of the sentence.
Example:
He ran toward the bus until he was tired. (Adverb Clause)
He came carrying his box with two hands. (Adverb Phrase)
