- Punjab University: Schedule to extend the date of Associate Degree Online Admissions released
Lahore (Online. April 30, 2022) Punjab University Examinations Department has extended the date of submission of Associate Degree Arts / Science / Commerce Part I and Part Two and BA (Deaf) Annual Online Admission Form and Fee for the year 2022. The schedule has been released.
Details, All Regular, Late College, Private, Improved Division, Additional Subjects, and Special Categories (MBBS, BDS, Forms).
Candidates for D, General Nursing, Fazil, and Federation of Madrassas can now submit the online form with a single fee till May 13, 2022.
Admission forms with a double fee can be submitted from 14th May 2022 to 27th May 2022. Candidates are informed that all admissions will be online and admission forms will not be received manually and by post. Details can be found on the Punjab University website www.pu.edu.pk.
- Punjab University has issued notification of the 2022 examination schedule
Lahore (01 January 2022) Punjab University has issued notification of the schedule of 2022 examinations. Examinations for Part 1 and 2 of Associate Degree Arts and Science will be held in July.
Special category examinations for Associate in Science and Arts will also be held in July. Similarly, examinations for different parts of the LLB five and three-year programs including MA, MSc Part 1, and 2 examinations will be held in August. Examinations for various parts of Associate Degree Commerce are also scheduled in August.
- Punjab University has issued LLB number slips
LAHORE (October 10, 2021, Educational News): Punjab University Examinations Department has issued roll number slips for LLB (Three Year Program) and (Five Year Program) Annual Examinations 2021 starting from October 15, 2021.
Candidates of Punjab University Law College can download their roll number slip from the official website of Punjab University www.pu.edu-pk. While all other candidates can get roll number slips from their respective colleges.

Changed the method of payment of salaries of teachers of 22 autonomous government colleges across the province
Lahore (August 21, 2021): The Punjab government has changed the method of payment of salaries of teachers of 22 independent government colleges across the province, including Lahore.
It has been reported that the government has decided to send the salaries of government teachers of these autonomous colleges directly to the bank accounts of the teachers instead of paying their salaries from the AG’s office.
In this regard, the Punjab government has issued instructions to the teachers of autonomous government colleges to open easy assignment accounts in their nearby banks.
Independent Government Colleges in Lahore include MAO, Government College Lahore University, Queen Mary College, and other colleges.
- GC University hosts National Minorities Day Celebrations
Lahore (August 10, 2021, Educational News ) Government College University Lahore held a seminar on National Minorities Day. Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Ejaz Alam Augustine presided over the seminar which was also addressed by Member Punjab Assembly Ramesh Singh Arora, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Asghar Zaidi, and Kalyan Singh Kalyan.
Speaking on the occasion, Ejaz Alam Augustine said that all of us minorities are Pakistanis and we celebrate August 14 with more enthusiasm than the day of minorities, this national day of minorities continues as a great tradition and this new country It symbolizes the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to promote equality and protect the rights of non-Muslims.
He said that for the first time, the Punjab government had collected data on minority job quotas and found that there were 19,000 vacancies in the province.
He lauded that GCU is the only institution where minorities have been given more jobs than their quota. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asghar Zaidi said that this great tradition of celebrating National Minorities Day should continue as this day It is celebrated to reaffirm the commitment that despite belonging to different religions, we are a nation that continues to strive for a united and prosperous Pakistan. He said that the commendable services of minorities are a great chapter in the history of Pakistan.
- Department of Special Education decides to start Matric Vocational Tech
Lahore (August 10, 2021): The Special Education Department has decided to start Matric Vocational Tech. With the launch of Matric Tech, special students will also be included in the list of skilled persons.
DG Pervez Iqbal Butt said that Lemitric Vocational School for Special Children will be launched as a pilot project, it will be the first project of its kind in Pakistan, the first school as a pilot project will be opened in Johar Tan, special children. A building has been allotted for this project for technical training. Rehabilitation of special children is not possible without technical education. This project will create employment opportunities for special children.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Tahir, Vice-Chancellor of the Khawaja Farid University of Engineering and Information Technology Rahim Yar Khan Congratulating the faculty members on winning the “United Nations Research Project Grant” worth Rs. 192,000, he said that such research projects have enhanced the prestige and international ranking of the university.
Assistant Professor of Education Dr. Jam Mohammad Zafar, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghulam Shabbir Kalachi, Dr. Naeemullah, Dr. Tariq Mehmood Bhatta, and Dr. Mohammad Ahmed Mudassir (Chemistry) recently spoke about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. - SEMINAR ORGANIZED BY PUNJAB UNIVERSITY CENTER FOR SOUTH ASIAN STUDIES
Lahore (July 13, 2021): Punjab University Center for South Asian Studies organized a seminar on ‘The need for strong institutions to ensure effective governance in Pakistan’ in which the former inspector. General Punjab Police Dr. Azhar Hassan Nadeem, Director Center for South Asian Studies Prof. Dr. Umbereen Javed, faculty members, research scholars, and students participated.
Dr. Azhar highlighted the topic and discussed ways to combat bad governance. He suggested formulating comprehensive economic policies for good governance and removing demarcations in the education system. He said that education should be used as a competitive force.

- INTER EXAMINATIONS BEGIN IN PUNJAB, 462 EXAMINATION CENTERS SET UP IN LAHORE
Lahore Educational News (July 10, 2021, Educational News ): Inter examinations have started in Punjab. 462 examination centers have been set up for candidates in Lahore while section 144 has been implemented outside the centers.
Chairman Lahore Board said that all arrangements for the examinations have been completed and section 144 has been implemented to take stern action against plant mafia and external elements.
The LESCO chief has been requested not to carry out load shedding during the examination hours and directed all mobile inspectors to submit reports daily.
He said that one examination center each was set up at Hasilpur, Chishtian, Rahim Yar Khan, Harnolipur, DG Khan, Fazilpur, and Lahore Jund for the students of Danish schools.
In Kasur district, 37 centers have been set up for girls, 32 for boys, 33 for girls, and 25 for boys in Sheikhupura district.
- Admission In E-Rozgaar Program Started In Lahore College For Women University (Educational News)
Lahore (Educational News, July 08, 2021): The Punjab Information Technology Board and the Youth Affairs Department have jointly launched an E-Rozgaar training program to employ the youth across the province, which is continuing successfully.
Admissions have been started in the E-Rozgaar center of Lahore College for Women University.

- Lahore: Students of Punjab University Law College protest and chanted slogans against Islamic Jamiat students
LAHORE (Educational News)– Hundreds of law college students at Punjab University staged an all-out protest against Jamiat-e-Islami students and chanted slogans against Jamiat-e-Islami students outside the Punjab University vice-chancellor’s office.
Students participating in the demonstration said that Jamiat-e-Islami was creating obstacles in the educational and teaching activities of the students.
Students belonging to Punjabi Students Council, Pashtun Punjab Students Council participated in the demonstration.
